 The Penultimate chapter before the finale arc is out and I have some things to say about it! Allow me to elaborate on some stuff if you please!

Behind the Scenes Notes for Remnants Chapter 43

 Okay, time to finish up the Schism/Secession storyline. I gotta be honest, I plowed through this chapter so fast mainly because I've had it in my head so long, I desperately needed to get it out. I've also been so buried in my own work the past few months, trying my best to manage my stress levels and not lose my creative boost that I was feeling. Point is, I managed it and here we are. The next chapter marching us towards the inevitable finale. Let's talk about it.

 So if you've read the chapter you know that the crap has hit the fan hard and is about to go on high speed. This and the next chapter took a lot of work to really organize and layout. Honestly, probably should’ve got in on paper, but I’m desperate to get this story squared away. Probably not helping myself since the current news cycle is making me super stressed. Behind the Scenes: Remnants Chapter 41 Parts I & II

 This was a long time coming, a chapter I've been wanting to write for a very long time with a lot of moving pieces. And in a way, it's still not done. Not because I had to split it further. No, because the implications here are just a set up for what is going to happen next. And to be clear, it's about to get SO much worse. But let's stay with the immediate issues for now and the set up.

Notes for Remnants Chapter 40 Parts 1 & 2

 The completion of this arc essentially means we're officially in the final act of the story, we've hit a major milestone narrative wise. The quest is seemingly completed, but various bad stuff has happened to force us to a low point. Trust me, it won't be the last time for that. For now though, let's just talk about what happened here.

Notes for Chapter 39

 We're really starting to get back on track aren't we? Maybe we'll actually get another chapter out before the end of this month? You never know. Anyway, for now let's just focus on this chapter. Which I hope was sufficiently action packed even if it feels like a breather.

Notes for Remnants Chapter 38

 Hey! No Split this time! Ain't that something! And better yet, I managed to keep the page count reasonable as well! And the next chapter should be more or less the same, it's also almost done. Notes for Remnants Chapter 37 parts 1-2

 I hadn't expected to run into the problem of FF.Net's Alert system essentially dying on me to hamper the release of these chapters. I'm honestly not sure if enough people realize these are up now or ever will because FF.Net has decided it doesn't want to fix the alerts quick enough. I'm rather annoyed, frankly, because I put a lot of work into these. I can only hope things turn out okay and that everyone piles in eventually to see the thing. I think I've been relying on the alerts to make up for my mess of a schedule. Anyway, I'm not gonna let that get me down. It's almost Halloween and folks deserve a treat for waiting so long.

Notes for Remnants Chapter 36 Parts 1 & 2

 I think a few people thought I was putting myself down a bit more than I actually was to be honest, so before I start let me assure you, I'm just trying to boost my spirits without swelling my head. I didn't like the idea of splitting this one up, but the chapter just got so long and the time between updates had been sufficient enough that it seemed necessary. I'm hopeful I'll be fixing that soon as I continue the work going forward. For now, lets talk a little about what happened in this chapter.

Remnants - Notes for Chapter 35 Parts 1 & 2

 Okay, we've been gone too long. There's no real excuse this time, life just got away from me as I was dealing with a bit of a creative block concerning my inability to do some projects that I wanted to do but for one reason or another simply could not do at the time. I'm not happy that it took so long to get this stuff off the ground, but I am more than happy to just finally get this stuff out and back to hopefully a more regular schedule. I'm going to be working more on my writing, in general, to try and push stuff more regularly because I don't want another wait like this. So, let's begin with some notes on things.

 Because this chapter is shorter there's less to talk about. Probably more to discuss next time, but there's enough in my mind that I can at least write a little. So here we go.

Remnants-Chapter 33 Author Notes (Also an Opinion Piece)

We’re alive again, there’s no real special excuse this time. Honestly I’m not happy with how I’ve been unable to keep my promise to get back on schedule this past year. It’s just been one thing after another where my personal time is not up to the job at hand, distractions and just plain creative slumps I’m starting to get over gradually. But we’re back, we have a new chapter, another one soon after that and I’m attempt to stimulate myself creatively through other minor projects. Also, new keyboard! Less annoying than the last one! So maybe fewer mistakes, we can hope. 

I do want to make up for the lack of content though and I know a lot of you are probably itching to ask the same question concerning a certain show based off a certain game this fanfic is dedicated 50% towards. Well like all of you I have opinions. So to get this out of the way and so I won’t have to answer the same questions concerning it over and over, here is my lengthy general response about the Halo TV Series... and why I refused to watch it.

There's a ton to go over and it's probably better to do it in the next chapter notes entry I write. For now, we'll focus on the battle that was the central focus of this chapter.

These massive breaks are becoming troublesome to me. I can't say what the problem is other than emotional toll of various things. Also family related stuff, just wanting to work on other projects, distractions in other things. It's all very annoying and I'm not happy with how long this stuff is taking. I'm hoping to correct that.

Remnants Chapter 23 Author's Notes

It's been too long and honestly the only one to blame has been myself. I didn't stop writing, but various issues or events or just in general concerns about a few miscellanous things got in the way. It wasn't intended, I didn't like it, but I just couldn't write what I wanted. A lot of that got sorted, thankfully, in due course, but for the most part I was just in general infuriated or distracted by too much to get things off the ground the way I wanted them to be. But I've finally made some real headway and I think I'm prepared to real buckle down on things going forward. On Remnants, The Lucen Side-Story, (Which will also be updated soon) and some original projects I've been meaning to get on paper.
