We're going to have a shorter one this time, as we're only covering four chapters, but given what they're doing, it will probably be pretty substantial in terms of content. I hope it will be a little enlightening. Anyway, I guess I'm going to have to justify a few things given that these four chapters contained some pretty important. If you didn't grok with what happened in these chapters, I was more than afraid people would hate the rest of it. But, I've had a fairly decent response, so maybe it's time to address some of that.
Alright, so after presenting my mission statement and giving the story some time to breath, I've decided to talk a little to you all about some things concerning the story's conception, the process of a lot of the ideas, and how things progressed to where they are currently. That and I need a break from playing "Heretic + Hexen" for awhile.
So, let's talk about RJ's first few adventures in Hell.
Given how big this is for me, I decided to cover the entire finale in a single final post rather than for individual chapters. Spoilers abound, so I hope you have read the entire finale, from chapter 46 to the Epilogue. Let's get into this! We have a lot to go over.
The Penultimate chapter before the finale arc is out and I have some things to say about it! Allow me to elaborate on some stuff if you please!

So if you've read the chapter you know that the crap has hit the fan hard and is about to go on high speed. This and the next chapter took a lot of work to really organize and layout. Honestly, probably should’ve got in on paper, but I’m desperate to get this story squared away. Probably not helping myself since the current news cycle is making me super stressed. And things really start spiraling in the chapter after next too!
This was a long time coming, a chapter I've been wanting to write for a very long time with a lot of moving pieces. And in a way, it's still not done. Not because I had to split it further. No, because the implications here are just a set up for what is going to happen next. And to be clear, it's about to get SO much worse. But let's stay with the immediate issues for now and the set up.
The completion of this arc essentially means we're officially in the final act of the story, we've hit a major milestone narrative wise. The quest is seemingly completed, but various bad stuff has happened to force us to a low point. Trust me, it won't be the last time for that. For now though, let's just talk about what happened here.
We're really starting to get back on track aren't we? Maybe we'll actually get another chapter out before the end of this month? You never know. Anyway, for now let's just focus on this chapter. Which I hope was sufficiently action packed even if it feels like a breather.
I hadn't expected to run into the problem of FF.Net's Alert system essentially dying on me to hamper the release of these chapters. I'm honestly not sure if enough people realize these are up now or ever will because FF.Net has decided it doesn't want to fix the alerts quick enough. I'm rather annoyed, frankly, because I put a lot of work into these. I can only hope things turn out okay and that everyone piles in eventually to see the thing. I think I've been relying on the alerts to make up for my mess of a schedule. Anyway, I'm not gonna let that get me down. It's almost Halloween and folks deserve a treat for waiting so long.
Okay, we've been gone too long. There's no real excuse this time, life just got away from me as I was dealing with a bit of a creative block concerning my inability to do some projects that I wanted to do but for one reason or another simply could not do at the time. I'm not happy that it took so long to get this stuff off the ground, but I am more than happy to just finally get this stuff out and back to hopefully a more regular schedule. I'm going to be working more on my writing, in general, to try and push stuff more regularly because I don't want another wait like this. So, let's begin with some notes on things.
Because this chapter is shorter there's less to talk about. Probably more to discuss next time, but there's enough in my mind that I can at least write a little. So here we go.
It's been a while again, and that's all on me for one reason or another. I'm not really blaming anyone but myself here as I could've gotten so much more work done by now but didn't.
